Amazon Launches Cheaper, Better Third Generation E-book Readers

Amazon Launches Cheaper, Better Third Generation E-book ReadersAmazon has launched a new set of ebook readers which are priced much cheaper than their original Kindle. The first one, which is priced 139 dollars, is much cheaper than another very popular e-book reader, the Nook by Barnes and Noble. This Kindle only has Wi-Fi capabilities.

The second ebook reader that was released is priced at 189 dollars. Altogether, these two are the third set of ebook readers from Amazon Kindle, and they have the advantage of speed, ease of use, better contrast at around 50 percent, and 6 inch diagonal screens for easy reading.

The release of these new Kindle e-book readers will still be on August 27, however those who are interested can pre-order online now. Indeed, the e-book reader industry is a growing industry. This is despite the popularity of other electronic devices which can also read e-books, such as the Apple iPad.

Perhaps the reason why they still continue to thrive is because these devices are dedicated solely for reading e-books, and that they have features which will make reading as comfortable as possible, and as close to reading a real book as possible. Furthermore, technology has allowed e-book readers to perform better, such as 20% faster page turns for their e-ink technology screens.
