Lady Gaga Promotes Her Perfume Line

After Lady Gaga surprised a lot of us last VMAs for the dresses she had worn, Gaga is up for her line of perfume.

Controversy after controversy, but Gaga is still the much-anticipated and sought-after pop icon these days. Being the star of the VMAs and a hot icon to the fashion community, we would be thinking on what perfume is Gaga using? Yes, criticized yet she is bombarded with some personal stuff.

According to a source, Gaga has signed up a deal with Coty Inc. to create her new line of perfume – to create new fragrances. The senior vice president of global marketing in the Coty Beauty division, Stephen Mormoris, the pop singer had just signed a deal with them just last week before the VMAs, and the new Gaga perfume will be out in the market in 2012.

According to Mormoris, the company chose Gaga because she is now a phenomenon. Mormoris described Gaga as “a fascinating cultural force” that could bring a lot of buyers to Coty Inc. In addition, Mormoris is expecting Gaga to pull a lot of people to buy the new line of fragrances and to cause “electrification” to non-Coty avid.

This is considered Gaga’s latest business project. She’s now in the long list of pop stars that had a deal with perfume makers, some of them are Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Avril Lavigne, Gwen Stefani and Hilary Duff.

Aside from this new perfume business deal, Gaga is in line with deals with Polaroid and designing Heartbeats headphones.

Zac Efron Jealous of Robert Pattinson

Zac Efron might be the most jealous person in the world right now. It seems that he has a problem with his co-Hollywood star Robert Pattinson. Rumors said that Zac does not support Rob’s success and this might affect the first’s success.

It all started in the MTV awards. Rob received a very positive and overwhelming response from the audience compared to Zac. One reliable source even commented that the women were excited when Zac came out. But when it was Rob’s chance, the girls went wild and crazy. Rob might be looking better than Zac in this respect.

Zac does not fully understand Rob’s appeal. Rob is everything that Zac is not. Rob might sometimes look like vagabond but he doesn’t talk about his disastrous hair. R-Patz possesses the formula to make girls want him. It might have something to do with his being silent most of the time and his mysterious actions.

This is just something made up I think. Both of the actors don’t have to be jealous with each other for they possess their own respective expertise. They have their own roles and places to play in the world of show business in Hollywood after all.

Ellen DeGeneres Says Goodbye to American Idol

Ellen DeGeneres was picked to the replacement of Paula Abdul in the talent search show American Idol. Many think that it was a good choice but it wasn’t after all.
Ellen was a huge fan of the show and everybody expected her to throw constructive criticisms to the contestants but she jut seemed to be dull. She was never critical about the performances. People say that leaving American Idol was the best option and let her return to her status as a fan. The program might find a better judge to replace her.
The only contribution she made for the program was to let the rejected contestants perform in her daytime talk show once again and talk about their exit. Some said that the reason for her inability to raise criticisms is because she has some discomfort in criticizing especially those who she really likes. Another reason is the lack of chemistry between her and Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi. And she was never confident in showing the same wit and creativity as with her other shows.
Well, it might be a very good idea that she will just go back to her talk show instead of being a judge. Judging might not be her call but talking.

Orlando Bloom Marries Supermodel Miranda Kerr

The archer has married a fashion guru, if I may say.

Orlando Bloom, 33, the star of “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “The Lord of the Rings” has married one of the most sought after models, Miranda Kerr, 27, just a moth after they announced their engagement.

Kerr became a supermodel when she was shot as a model for the lingerie line of the world famous Victoria’s Secret. Bloom and Kerr have begun dating since 2007 but they would often deny that their wedding is just around the corner.

The couple’s publicist announced last month that the reports of them being engaged were true.

What’s next? Of course the wedding!

David Jones, a store where Kerr is an ambassador, confirmed the wedding in a statement released to the media. That time was as well the summer/spring fashion launch of the said store but Kerr wasn’t able to attend.

Kerr stated that they had been planning for their wedding and honeymoon. The unfortunate thing was that their only chance to have their honeymoon fell on the same day as the launch. However, David Jones gave her the permission to do so.

Now, the pirate might have already found his long lost treasure. He doesn’t have to explore the dangerous waters or hit orcs with his arrows.

Lady GaGa vs. Westboro Baptist Church

Lady Gaga vs Westboro Church Lady GaGa’s creating a new web buzz this week. After posting a note on her Facebook page addressed to the Westboro Baptist Church, the said group was not a big fan of hers. She said “that the groups of protesters are all hate criminals; they preach using lewd violent language and imagery that I wish to protect you all from. Their message is about hatred and divisiveness, but inside at the Monsterball we preach love and unity.”

The Westboro Baptist Church is an Independent Baptist Church and a hate group that was founded by Fred Phelps in 1955. Their headquarters is located in Topeka, Kansas, United States. This group is famous for their anti-homosexuality and protest activities, picketing stints at funerals and desecrating the American Flag.

For those of you wondering why Lady GaGa is going gaga over this group… they were at the Monsterball concert last Saturday night at ST. Louis’ Scottrade Center waving their placards with the “God hates Lady GaGa” signs.

They believe that Lady GaGa uses her art and fashion to teach and promote rebellion against God. Lady GaGa ended her note with these words of wisdom: “Although I respect and do not judge anyone for their personal views on any politics or religion, this group in particular to me is violent and dangerous. I wanted to make my fans aware of my views on how to approach, or rather not approach, these kinds of hate activists.”

Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds Team Up Again in ‘Most Wanted’

Sandra Bullock Ryan Reynolds Team Up Again Most Wanted Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds will have a comeback movie under Universal Studios. Together with them is the team behind The Proposal, Director Anne Fletcher, Writer Pete Chiarelli and Producers David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman. The Proposal stars will team up on an action comedy movie under Universal entitled “Most Wanted.”

The story revolves around Sandra Bullock as a criminal suspect and Ryan Reynolds as an FBI agent assigned to escort her to court when they are ambushed and forced to run for their lives.

Most Wanted is like the 1988 movie Midnight Run, starring Robert De Niro and Charles Grodin. Universal is now developing a sequel to the said movie.

The Most Wanted project was originally for Disney who produced their first romantic comedy movie The Proposal under its Touchstone Company. However Disney decided to undergo a regime change, and is now “de-emphasizing Touchstone.” Disney now focuses on making more movies under the wide brand spectrum of their name.

Reynolds will also exec-produce the movie along with Dark Tick Films partner Jonathon Komack-Martin.

Writer Pete Chiarelli was a former MGM executive who wrote “The Proposal” in his spare time. Director Anne Fletcher is also now working on the second part of “Enchanted,” under Disney.

Robert Pattinson Failed Kiss with Kristen Stewart in the MTV Movie Awards

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart emerged victorious in the Best Kiss category of the MTV Movie Awards 2010. However, though the 24 year old British heartthrob is all game for an actual kiss on stage, Kristen Stewart is quite an unwilling partner. Behind all the holler of all crazy Twilight fans, the rumored couple just hid their smack to themselves. Kind of a drag, right?

According to an interview with a kiss expert, the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart kiss fail was evident because of K-Stew’s tense aura. When you’re tense, your body language shows it and you tend to be unreceptive to romantic actions.

In Zacquisha, kiss guru Margaret Kingsley explained that, when kissing, “passion is important”:

What K-Stew displayed with R-Patz in the MTV event, shows an unwilling innuendo that can induce your partner to be disappointed. Although Kingsley can perfectly understand Kristen’s reaction because they are in front of a large audience, what she should have done is just to relax her nerves to get the most out of the kiss they made. The expert reminded that we should always enjoy kissing because it’s a fact that a person who kisses their partner goodbye each morning would live five years longer than those who do not.

As long as they satisfy what the fans want to see, Robert and Kristen should be on their way for a private romantic kiss rather than having a public kiss that makes Kristen uncomfortable. We just have to wait for the exciting kissing scenes in Eclipse, perhaps?

Robert Pattinson Kristen Stewart Best Kissers 2010 MTV Movie Awards Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart never failed to show everyone some passion at the MTV Movie Awards last Sunday! Though hesitant at first, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart displayed that they deserve to win the Best Kiss Award.

The gorgeous Twilight couple won Best Kiss that night and thus shared some actual kissing in front of the audience. Actually, before the smooching, the Twilight stars were goofing around with Robert seeming to trip all over Kristen! Everyone went wild all throughout Robert and Kristen’s stay onstage.

In addition, both artists won individual awards as well. Robert Pattinson snatched the Best Male Performance award for his role in the Twilight series as Edward Cullen and was thankful to both Kristen and his parents. Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart also walked home with the Best Female Performance award for her acting as Bella Swan.

On a related note, Robert is apparently putting some distance between Kristen and himself. According to a source, Robert Pattinson is worried that his close relationship with Kristen Stewart will have an effect on his career. Kristen has been giving silly statements in the media lately and Robert, according to a source, seems to think that her actions might ruin the career he has worked long and hard for.

Thus, despite the rumors that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are dating, expect that the two might be seen quite a bit apart at the moment.

Justin Bieber Arrest is Just a Bad Rumor

Justin Bieber Arrest Story Not True Rumors are flying around at the moment that the young artist Justin Bieber has been arrested by the Police. Well, those rumors are not true.

It certainly seems that the famous artist is the latest victim of bad rumors going around, very normal in this line of work (See story: Justin Bieber Fake Arrest, Free Concert and Karate Kid Team Up). Although the rumor is a complete sham, this version is still going around various social networking sites even up to this time. So if you’ve seen such happening and are reading this article, start spreading the truth.

As expected, something real happens, it spreads. But in the process, little bits of information are omitted, changed, and in most cases, exaggerated, and now emerges an issue that is more or less, false.

Well, in this particular story, several factors were probably fused together. It seems that Justin Bieber’s name might have been caught up with his father’s, Jeremy Bieber. Apparently, daddy Bieber has been arrested a couple of times.

The other factor would be who was actually arrested recently. That would be no other than Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford. Most probably, since Justin Bieber is somewhat of a heartthrob himself, people had interchanged the two.

But rest easy now, Justin Bieber fans. The ever handsome Justin WAS NOT actually arrested at all and remains as innocent as you want him to be.

Robert Pattinson and Snooki Hooking Up at the MTV Movie Awards?

Snooki, of the Jersey Shore fame, has gone out and announced that she has got the hots for the Twilight series hunk, Robert Pattinson. She thinks Robert Pattinson is smoking hot! The two are bound to meet at the red carpet of the MTV Movie awards as Snooki, accompanied by Mike the Situation, will be MTV’s special correspondent for the event.

Snooki is both nervous and excited about the new hosting job especially since she’ll be meeting and interviewing ‘RPatz’, as she would call Robert Pattinson.

She told MTV News that upon meeting Robert, she might tell the Twilight actor that he needs some tanning although he is still hot despite the pale vampire look. Whoa, Robert Pattinson gets unsolicited advice from Snooki – get a tan!

But the question is, ‘Is Snooki the type Robert Pattinson would go after?’ Well, probably not. After all, he has already got his eye set on Kristen Stewart. Still, it’s not far-fetched if Snooki and Robert would develop a great friendship what with Robert Pattinson sporting a great sense of humor.

Watch out for Robert Pattinson, the crew of Jersey shore and a special 10-minute peek at the second season of the reality show at the MTV Movie awards at 9pm ET/PT this Sunday, June 6.
