Borders had a serious competition at hand for the two leading e book readers in the market, the Nook by Barnes and Noble, and of course, the leading Kindle by Amazon. Borders thought of creating a very cheap e book reader, calling it the Kobo. At that time, it sold at 150 dollars, which was way cheaper than the prices of the e book readers at that time. The only catch was that it didn’t have any wireless connection, such as the 3G and the WiFi, where all the leading e book readers had them.
All went well, until Barnes and Noble and Amazon decided to lower the price of their e book readers as well, but this is probably because of the competition they had with the iPad, which is not necessarily an e book reader in the strictest sense. Because of this lowered price, the Kobo became an irrelevant option, so Borders knew that they had to come up with something better for their next set of devices.
Now, Kobo’s new version will hit stores loaded with new features and promising better functionalities. For one, it already incorporates a network connection in the form of a Wi-Fi connection. Furthermore, it is now cheaper at 140 dollars. From the outside, it looks like not much has changed compared to the previous design, but from the inside, it has a stronger battery, and faster processor, although in general, it is still second fiddle compared to the Kindle and Nook.
Hewlett Packard Inc. announced that their company will release two tablet computers. The first tablet will run using the WebOS operating system, the same operating system which runs in Palm smart phones. The second tablet computer will run using Microsoft Windows 7, and is probably the much more expensive among the two because it aims to be used by those in the enterprise. 
A research by the DisplaySearch firm said that the LCD TV prices will lower this holiday seasons. In fact, the data shows that the prices during the holidays will be 5 percent lower than the prices of LCD TVs last year. Furthermore, it also stated that the price will continue to fall down during the course of the last quarter of this year, until it reaches a drop of 12 percent compared to last year’s prices.
If you are a Kindle user, you might have been bored with the main functionality of the eBook reader, which is to read eBooks, obviously. The first category that they evaluated the iPad with is its overall view. According to the report, the iPad is really superior in terms of portability and versatility. Also, because of its touch screen feature, it is excellent in terms of navigation. A drawback, however, would be its video viewing, simply because it is not compatible with Flash. Furthermore, there is no memory card reader and USB Port.

On the surface, the movie shows Harvard University as a “stuffy cartoon-scape.” It also “treats women as video game props, sex tools, and platforms for coke snorting.” Mark Zuckerberg’s character also was portrayed as a bit of an asshole. Moreover, the movie just showed a fair and equal presentation of everything – the reality in our time. Of course, this would not be possible, if it weren’t for the good writing of Aaron Sorkin and Jesse Eisenberg’s delivery of the main character. He made everything a little lot charming than annoying.
