Ford Profits for Second Quarter Beats Analyst Predictions

Ford Profits for Second Quarter Beats Analyst Predictions For its profits for the second quarter, Ford reported making 2.6 billion dollars, the highest among its rival car manufacturing companies. In fact, a lot of analysts, including Wall Street, are surprised by the success of Ford, and the company has shattered predictions from these analysts by doing a lot better than what was expected from them.

For the first six months of the year, Ford has increased its sales by 28 percent. That figure is about two times higher than all other car manufacturing companies. In addition, compared to last year’s figures, Ford is even more successful this year because it only earned about 2.3 billion dollars last year for the same period.

Ford also reported revenues that have risen expectations of 29.8 billion dollars. Expectations were exceeded as the amount of 31.3 billion dollars is reported. On the other hand, despite this success, Ford predicted that they will not be as successful by the second half of the year.

The company also reduced its initially-stated forecasts. According to Ford, they did this in light of the fact that the United States economy is not showing signs of rapid improvement in the near future. Despite the fact that the economy continues to improve, it does so in a slow pace, and that affects forecasts for the successful car company.
