How to Identify the Best Work at Home Companies

As the recession looms large, people are increasingly looking for work at home jobs. Here is a list of things to keep in mind in order to identify the best work at home companies.

How to Identify Best Work at Home Companies
1. Where is the Money? Let’s face it. You are not looking to do charity and therefore the most important thing to look for is the payment policy of your prospective employer. How often would they pay? Is there a point system? If yes, then what is the minimum amount you should collect before you can redeem it for money? If it is going to take very long before you can convert your points to money then maybe it is not worth the trouble.
2. Company Reputation: Look for whether the company has a good reputation? Have they been in business for quite some time or are they a new entrant? The longer they have been around the better. Having said that, some new companies pay better than established firms so as to attract good talent. Who are the promoters? If there is no information available on that, chances are likely that you are looking at a scam.
3. Information Requested: The best work at home companies are those that require the minimal information from you. They would just need samples of your work, but never your personal information such as credit cards numbers or SSN numbers.
4. Apply for regular jobs: If you notice a regular job ad, that you feel can be performed remotely, then write to the company asking whether you can work from home. The pay is likely to be good and the job will be legitimate. But it will be difficult to convince the company that you have the necessary infrastructure and the attitude to be successful in your work from home attempt.
Bottom line is, do your research in order to zero in on the best work at home companies
