Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart emerged victorious in the Best Kiss category of the MTV Movie Awards 2010. However, though the 24 year old British heartthrob is all game for an actual kiss on stage, Kristen Stewart is quite an unwilling partner. Behind all the holler of all crazy Twilight fans, the rumored couple just hid their smack to themselves. Kind of a drag, right?

According to an interview with a kiss expert, the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart kiss fail was evident because of K-Stew’s tense aura. When you’re tense, your body language shows it and you tend to be unreceptive to romantic actions.

In Zacquisha, kiss guru Margaret Kingsley explained that, when kissing, “passion is important”:

What K-Stew displayed with R-Patz in the MTV event, shows an unwilling innuendo that can induce your partner to be disappointed. Although Kingsley can perfectly understand Kristen’s reaction because they are in front of a large audience, what she should have done is just to relax her nerves to get the most out of the kiss they made. The expert reminded that we should always enjoy kissing because it’s a fact that a person who kisses their partner goodbye each morning would live five years longer than those who do not.

As long as they satisfy what the fans want to see, Robert and Kristen should be on their way for a private romantic kiss rather than having a public kiss that makes Kristen uncomfortable. We just have to wait for the exciting kissing scenes in Eclipse, perhaps?
